Policies and Procedures

ORDERING
You may fax or email your purchase order to us. Our fax number is (906) 863-3319, and our general email address is info (at) master-sand (dot) com. We prefer to receive a written order; however verbal orders are accepted if necessary. Your order must be complete, including quantity, strip length, strip height, grit, and flap size. In the case of cores, we must know the length, diameter, and arbor size. We will acknowledge and confirm your order, including quantities, pricing, and an expected ship date, by either fax or return email within two business days. Please review these order acknowledgements carefully. We will gladly revise or cancel an order that has not begun production. If you need to make changes to your order, please do so as soon as possible after you receive an acknowledgement from us. We quote lead times based on our current production status and inventory levels. Changes made after your order is acknowledged may be subject to different lead times due to availability of raw materials. If the products you order are not in our inventory, purchase orders are scheduled for production in the order which they are received, and lead time is generally under ten (10) business days. RUSH ORDERS can usually be done. Please call ahead if you need products urgently.

SHIPPING
We ship via UPS Ground or common carrier, unless instructed otherwise by you. If you receive preferred rates from any carrier, we will gladly use that carrier and bill the freight charges directly to your account upon your direction. Otherwise, we will prepay the freight charges and include them on your invoice. If we prepay freight, your order will be subject to a handling charge. To help protect you from any loss during transit, we will always declare the total value of your shipment. Any charges for additional declared value are your responsibility. All shipments are FOB Menominee, Michigan.

INVOICING
Your invoice will generally be delivered to you or mailed on the same date your order ships. We prefer to deliver your invoices by fax or email, as this provides you with the best opportunity to take advantage of any sales discounts. However, we will deliver your invoice via US Mail if you so choose. Please let us know your preferred method of receiving invoices. If you do not direct us to do so otherwise, we will deliver your invoice by fax.

PAYMENT
We provide goods on credit in good faith to our customers, and we appreciate timely payments. Our customers receive generous discounts if their invoices are paid within ten (10) days. For purposes of a discount, we will consider a payment received on your payment’s postmark date. All balances are due thirty days from the invoice date. We reserve the right, in extreme cases, to discontinue providing goods on credit to any customer at any time. In such a case, we may require a nonrefundable deposit prior to your order entering production, and will require full payment prior to shipment.

We gladly accept credit cards as payment through the online service PayPal. The only requirement is that our customers have an email address for us to send a payment request and further instructions. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay your invoices from us. PayPal is the most widely used and most trusted provider of these services. They keep all of your account information secure; we do not see your credit card numbers. We prefer this as opposed to us having your account information, thus exposing us to a security risk. Credit card payments are not eligible for any early payment discounts due to fees involved.

International payments are accepted in the following manners ONLY: Good check in US Dollars - checks MUST be drawn on a US bank; wire transfer (please contact us for information); or credit card through PayPal. We are not able to accept payments in currency other than US Dollars.

GUARANTEE
CMB Manufacturing, LLC, dba CMB Master-Sand, guarantees its products unconditionally against manufacturer defects. If, for any reason, our product fails due to a defect in workmanship during normal use, we will, at our option, replace it free of charge, or provide you with credit against a future order from us. You must return the defective products to us at your expense prior to any credit being issued. We may make suggestions regarding sanding strip height and grit. Due to the unique nature of each application, we do not guarantee these suggestions. Returns for product that is delivered as ordered, but with incorrect or inappropriate height or grit, are handled on a case-by-case basis. The remedies outlined herein are the sole remedies available to you. Under no circumstances will CMB Manufacturing be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits. We specifically disclaim any and all implied warranties, as allowed by the laws of the states, provinces, and countries in which we do business.
